โ€‹The purpose of this group is to celebrate, educate, and connect high-achieving Notaries Public. We aim to highlight best practices, share success stories, and provide a positive environment for professional development, culminating in the monthly recognition of an outstanding member.

โ€‹These are the non-negotiable rules for participation.

  1. โ€‹Be Respectful and Professional: Treat all members with courtesy. Name-calling, harassment, personal attacks, or discrimination of any kind (based on race, gender, religion, etc.) will result in immediate removal.
  2. โ€‹Maintain Privacy: Do not share proprietary information, client data, or any confidential details. This includes posting private messages or non-public intellectual property of other members.
  3. โ€‹No Direct Solicitation or Spam: Do not post unsolicited advertisements for your own services or products unless explicitly related to a thread (e.g., a member asks for a recommendation for a specific tool, you can mention yours). Repeated, unwarranted self-promotion is strictly prohibited.
  4. โ€‹Stay On Topic (Notary & Professional Development): All posts must relate to notary work, loan signing, professional development, business operations, or the recognition of notaries. Off-topic posts, politics, or unrelated personal discussions will be deleted.
  5. โ€‹Use Search Before Posting (FAQ): We encourage members to use the group’s search feature to see if their question has already been answered. This keeps the feed valuable and reduces repetitive content.
  6. โ€‹Admin Decisions Are Final: The Group Admin(s) reserve the right to delete posts or remove members at their sole discretion to maintain the quality and integrity of the community.

โ€‹These guidelines govern how the recognition program works.

  1. โ€‹Nomination Process: The Admin team will share a monthly thread or form for nominations. Members can nominate themselves or another member who has demonstrated excellence in notary service, community impact, or business innovation.
  2. โ€‹Selection Criteria: The “Notary of the Month” is selected based on a combination of factors, which may include:
    • โ€‹Engagement in the group (helpful comments, valuable advice).
    • โ€‹Demonstrated excellence in their business practices (as highlighted in the nomination).
    • โ€‹Community service or ethical practice.
  3. โ€‹No Lobbying: Do not create separate posts or campaigns to lobby for votes or nominations. All nominations must be submitted through the designated channel.
  4. โ€‹Recognition Benefits: The winner will be featured in a dedicated post, often including an interview, photo, and a link to their approved professional website/social media (as a reward, not general solicitation).

  1. โ€‹Provide Value: When answering questions, try to offer helpful and constructive advice, referencing relevant state laws or best practices when possible.
  2. โ€‹Cite Your Sources: If discussing state-specific laws or regulations, please state the name of the state (e.g., “In Texas…”) to avoid confusion.
  3. โ€‹Feedback is Welcome: If you have suggestions for the group, a new rule, or a topic you’d like to see discussed, please send a private message to an Admin rather than posting it publicly.
